I switched to tallow-based moisturizers earlier this year, and this one is easily among my favorites. It has a light, whipped texture that applies smoothly and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. A little goes a long way, and it moisturizes almost instantly, leaving skin feeling soft and nourished.

The balm has a mild honey scent, and you can also detect the natural tallow smell. For that reason, I use it everywhere except my face, but the scent is pleasant overall unless you have a very sensitive nose and tend to notice the tallow more.

One thing to note is that the container arrived with product on the outside, and there is no safety seal, so I did need to clean it before storing. That aside, this is a high-quality product and an excellent value for the amount you get. It’s very effective at moisturizing and restoring dry skin with organic ingredients.

This tallow balm worked great on my skin. It was super easy to run in and my skin soaked it in well. It has a light scent to it but nothing bothersome and it dissipated pretty quickly. I liked how smooth and hydrated my skin felt. I think this would be appropriate for any skin type and can be used anywhere on your body. The jar is sturdy and even looks nice too. I have no complaints about any skin irritation. This one feels like a winner.

This organic beef tallow is a thick and nourishing cream with an excellent ingredient list. My skin gets so dry during the winter and this cream goes on smooth and locks in the moisture. It is a bit heavy and greasy when it first goes on, as you can see by the shine it leaves on my hand, but after a few minutes it soaks in and leaves my skin soft and dry. Watery lotions just do not provide that level of moisture so it is worth letting the cream have time to soak into the skin. There is not much if any scent so this will work equally well for men and women. I recommend it if you struggle with dry and sensitive skin.

I absolutely love the quality of this beef tallow balm. With winter weather and constant hand washing, my hands have been feeling like sandpaper, and for the first time ever I’ve even started dealing with eczema-like dryness. This balm has been a game changer.
It does feel very oily at first, but in the best way — it actually sticks and stays instead of disappearing after a few minutes like most lotions. A small amount goes a long way, and once it settles in, my skin feels protected, nourished, and comfortable for hours.
The ingredient list is what really sold me. With grass-fed beef tallow, Manuka honey, jojoba, aloe, beeswax, and vitamin E, I feel confident about what I’m putting on my skin. Even if results took time, I’d still feel good knowing everything is natural and clean — but honestly, I’m already seeing improvement.
There’s no unpleasant smell at all; it has a light, slightly sweet scent that fades quickly. I plan to use this every night before bed, especially on my hands during the colder months.
If you struggle with extremely dry, sensitive skin and want something truly nourishing (not watered-down), this is absolutely worth it. The fact that it’s handmade in the USA by a veteran- and first responder–owned business makes it even better.

I have tried many tallow skin creams and this one has to be one of the best. This cream has a light texture and consistency due to its whipped formulation, a pleasant vanilla scent, has both hydrating and moisturizing benefits (tallow, beeswax), as well as anti-inflammatory benefits due to Manuka Honey and anti-oxidant (Vitamin E). The cream is also healing of the skin (Aloe Vera). It absorbs well into my skin and does not leave a greasy residue.

I find this cream wonderful for my mature skin; it is a bit heavier, a balm, which my skin can easily handle and needs. It is also good for other parts of my body, such as hands, knees, elbows, that also need the extra attention this balm can provide. Wonderful skincare product that is comfortably priced; I highly recommend.

This smells really good and so far it seems to be good. I haven't had any allergic reaction to it and I am very sensitive to things. While it came completely intact and inside plastic, the jar itself felt very greasy and was covered in a layer of what I am assuming to be this balm. It smelled the same. I had to clean the outside of the jar before storing it.

It is still a little early for me to make wild judgement calls about the long term effects, but for now and the few days I've been using it, it does work well and has helped with dry skin areas while smelling amazingly good (don't eat it). If anything changes, I will update this. For now, I like it and love the smell. I could have done without the exterior coating when I first got it.

This organic beef tallow cream is amazing. It's thick consistency is comparable to a paste, but it doesn't feel like paste. It feels very soft and smooth. It starts thick and firm then melts into your skin almost immediately. It's very moisturizing with little to no odor. It has minimal ingredients and is in a glass jar. It's really good skin care. I love the name of it. My only complaint is its a rather small jar for almost $40. It's good quality but I really question the value for the price. I personally would not spend that much on such a small container. However if I ever find it on sale for half off I most certainly would order it.

I have been wanting to try the newly popular beef. Tallow cream. It comes in a smaller nice glass jar. There’s not a ton of product, but you do not need a lot. I will say the smell is intensely sweet like vanilla icing. I am taking off one star because the smell was a little too strong for me. I always prefer unscented or a fresh lightcitrus smell. The tallow does provide good moisture to your face and leaves your skin very soft.
